This ear cuff doubles as a lip cuff and is inspired by one of my favorite fictional heroines, Furiosa from the movie Mad Max: Fury Road. In the post-apocalyptic film, Furiosa saves five wives from slavery, hoping to guide them to an oasis called the "Green Place". After traveling and overcoming insurmountable odds, Furiosa is crushed to find out that the "Green Place" no longer exists. Her dreams are shattered but somehow she finds the strength to keep going, not only for herself but for the good of the women around her. Eventually, working together, the six women save not only themselves but an entire community and build their own "Green Place". This cuff is an encouragement to keep pressing on, sometimes the first obstacle is just that, a bump on the road on the way to a better thing.
