What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a fun way to create a custom jewelry piece that is totally custom and perfect for everyday wear. In this process, you will first choose a chain, then we custom fit it to your wrist, and then our trained metal smiths weld it closed with a tiny jump ring. This makes the closure "permanent" instead of the typical clasp.
Do your bracelets tarnish?
Our 14k Goldfill bracelets are a forever product like solid gold. Even with regular everyday wear they should never tarnish. Always be careful though because with repeated contact with heavily sulfuric lotions or additives, we have seen them in rare cases start to deteriorate. Our sterling silver chains (like all silver products) can antique naturally with exposure to water or humidity.
How do I care for my jewelry?
If your chain or charms become dirty, you can rinse your jewelry in warm water and clean with a soft bristle tooth brush and dish soap. A jewelry polishing cloth can help restore shine, especially on sterling silver chains. We are always available to run your chains through our cleaning machine for you too if you'd like.
What are your chains made of?
Our chains are all 14k Yellow Goldfill, Rose Goldfill or Silver. They are all nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
What if my bracelet breaks?
Don't worry, as long as you have the chain we will always re-zap it for you for free! You can also have your bracelert removed or adjusted for free at any time.
Can I take this into the shower, pool or lake?
Freshwater is always fine for our bracelets and charms. Showers and the lake is always fine. Pools are usually ok too as long as it's not repeated, extended time in chlorine. This can sometimes deteriorate the chain or cause it to have a film on top. Don'y worry though, if this does happen, you can bring it in for a cleaning.
